Rogue Client Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of Rogue Client (the "Software"), developed and owned by Pernoise ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Rogue Client, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

This document covers your rights and obligations as an end user of the compiled application. It is separate from, and in addition to, the LICENSE file, which governs the source code itself.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Rogue Client, you confirm that:

2. What Rogue Client Is

Rogue Client is a third-party Minecraft launcher. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or their affiliates. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios. Your use of Minecraft through Rogue Client remains subject to Mojang's own End User License Agreement and Minecraft Usage Guidelines, which you are responsible for reviewing and complying with independently.

You must own a legitimate, valid Minecraft account to use Rogue Client's Minecraft-launching features. Rogue Client does not provide, sell, or grant access to Minecraft itself.

3. Account Authentication

Rogue Client supports sign-in via Microsoft and Ely.by accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Third-Party Services

Rogue Client integrates with, or connects to, third-party services including but not limited to:

We are not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

6. Automatic Updates

Rogue Client may check for and install updates automatically to deliver new features, fixes, and security improvements. By using the Software, you consent to this update process. You may be able to disable automatic updates in Settings, but doing so may leave you on an outdated, unsupported version.

7. Crash Reporting & Logs

If crash reporting is enabled, diagnostic information (such as stack traces, launcher version, and system information) may be collected to help us identify and fix issues. We do not intentionally collect Minecraft account credentials, chat logs, or personal files as part of this process. You can review what is collected via the Software's built-in log viewer.

8. Intellectual Property

Rogue Client's name, logo, interface design, and all associated branding are the exclusive property of Pernoise. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Pernoise's trademarks, branding, or assets except as necessary to use the Software as intended.

Minecraft and all related trademarks are the property of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. Rogue Client claims no ownership over Minecraft or its assets.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

Rogue Client is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

You use Rogue Client at your own risk, including any risk to your Minecraft account arising from the use of third-party authentication or unofficial launcher software in general.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pernoise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of account access, or loss of profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Rogue Client, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue, restrict, or terminate your access to Rogue Client at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Rogue Client after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date above.

13. Contact
