Rogue Client Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you use Rogue Client (the "Software"), developed by Pernoise ("we," "us," "our"). It should be read alongside our Terms of Service. By using Rogue Client, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Our Approach

Rogue Client is built to collect as little as possible. We don't run analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind, and we don't use third-party services (like Google Analytics, Sentry, or similar tools) to monitor how you use the Software. There's no hidden data pipeline — what's described below is the whole picture.

2. What Is Stored, and Where

The only data Rogue Client handles is what's needed to keep you signed in:

We do not collect your Minecraft chat logs, personal files, IP address, device identifiers, or usage statistics.

3. Third-Party Services

Rogue Client connects out to a small number of third-party services in order to function. Each of these has its own privacy policy, which governs any data they receive directly from your use of their service:

We don't control what these services do with data once it's in their hands. We'd encourage you to review their respective privacy policies if you have concerns.

4. Crash Reporting

If crash reporting is enabled in Settings, diagnostic information (such as stack traces, launcher version, and basic system information) may be generated to help us understand what went wrong. This is intentionally limited: we do not collect Minecraft account credentials, chat logs, or personal files as part of this process. You can review exactly what would be included via the Software's built-in log viewer before anything is shared, and crash reporting can be turned off entirely in Settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Rogue Client is not knowingly used to collect personal data from children, largely because we don't collect personal data from anyone. Our Terms of Service already require users to meet the minimum age of digital consent in their jurisdiction, or to have parental permission if they don't.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Software changes. Continued use of Rogue Client after an update is published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date above.
